Hi Dr. Jen, Thanks for your powerful writings on GID and the Christian Church. Most writers on this subject just wander around in it. You come right to the point. If Christians and their pastors are open at all your message should get through. God bless you, Jenny

I oh so wish the world would read your GID points. I have laid in bed so many nights wishing for the day when they would see that it isnt a choice and there is help if they would only help. Its very sad to me that the world will accept al the visible birth defects but simply ignore the others. Thank you...I will hope still in my heart for that day to come...you know they have a day of remembering for those who have died with this from hate crimes and suicide, why not now try and remember us while we are still alive as well? Our government can change this for us folks in the USA, they just have to take off the blinders and see us as what we are, human beings, people with hearts and minds who can contribute and better this society we live in through our contributions. Do not hate us because we were born different. Why not just go back to drowning us at birth? Oh wait you only did that to the ones who you could see with visible birth defect...Its time the world wakes up and grows up and understands its NOT going to go away by hating us. Whats the definition of insanity? Attempting the same action over and over expecting a different result. Gee um we still here after 1000's of years of ridicule and prejudices and disrespect...How about helping us get our needs met so that we can function as a vital part of our society? Teachers, Doctors, Scientist, Engineers, Technicians and even the one who saved your life that day you needed that blood transfusion. Remember, you can't see GID....But you can make a difference and help those who have it. Speak up for support for those with this birth defect. Don't speak against those who you don't understand or have never been where they are at...Nahhh didn't have much to say.....lol...:)

Hey you! Seems that your card got dropped right out of my wallet sometime this weekend after we saw each other again on Saturday. It was such a blessing to meet you and I really enjoyed all our time. Thank you for being the resource and woman that you are. If you'll sent your info via email, I'd like to talk sometime. - Victoria

Dr Jen, I am the mom of a Transwoman. Jessie was raised in an active Christian home but turned away from God because she thought He wouldn't accept her. We are now in a dialogue about you articles. Your thoughts have helped me navigate some of my own views, as well as how to help Jessica reconnect with a God who loves her very much.
